I recently took my 20+ year old RAV4 in for some repair work (new radiator). This was my 2’nd visit here (first was a basic oil change), and once again the experience was excellent. I am not much of a car guy, but Justin (service tech) and Joe (service manager) explained everything that was needed in terms that even I could understand. At no time was there any pressure or hard-sell, they simply told me what was wrong and answered any of my questions. Car has been working great since the work was done, and I’ve scheduled more work in the near future as I am comfortable I can trust this shop.

This is the 3rd time I've used Auto Repair Mom and the service has been top notch every time. Joe that works the phone is great. Like every one has said, they're quick, they don't over sell or upsell you, give you photos of everything they're seeing, and they talk through your options, what they would do if it was their car, and what makes the most sense. This most recent time they worked to save me money - crazy right! Joe was on the phone with me daily keeping me updated, giving me options, and working to make sure I was taken care of. Both Joe and Justin are top notch. This place reminds me of the local mechanic that used to exist - honest, hard working, smart and looking to take care of you not just charge you. I'm a loyal customer for life.

My sister and I have both taken cars here after other shops couldn't fix the issues, despite claiming they had. Auto Repair Mom is different - they actually work with you to find a solution and offer transparency throughout the process. I felt valued and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience start to finish. I was referred to these folks from a neighbor and I’m so grateful. My minivan is our family’s primary mode of transportation and after having a new transmission put in over the summer my family panicked when the check engine light came on. Another auto shop quoted us an astronomical amount for repairs and my family just could not make that work after a $7k repair this summer. Joe with Auto Repair Mom was honest with us, very knowledgeable, and helped us discern what services were TRULY needed for my car at a price that made us breathe easier. They made the process quick, easy, and their customer service is top tier! So thankful to have found a local repair shop that I can TRUST.

This was my first experience with Auto Repair Mom and it’s been an awesome experience. To start I am a former car salesmen and Finance manager at a large dealer. I took my truck back there to be worked on the day of my appointment they set for me. My truck sat there 2 days untouched. After being frustrated with that situation I got my truck back and was told “The issue couldn’t be duplicated”. The first time I got in the truck it took 5+ tries to start my truck due to a dying starter. This let me know they didn’t even try to start it at all in those 2 days. I found Auto Car Mom had 5.0 stars on google out of 144 Reviews I liked those odds. Justin asked me several questions about my situation asked what I tried to do and seemed to genuinely want to help me and not just take on the job and take my money like the dealership I worked for and made THOUSANDS of dollars over the 4yrs I was there, I was just another service RO ticket. I dropped my truck off the night before my appointment which was the next day at 11am by 3pm I had a full diagnostics, quoted price, photos of EVERYTHING that needed addressing and an explanation and recommendation plus photo evidence. My truck was ready for pick up before 4:30 and the price was very reasonable. I HIGHLY suggest you support and work with Auto Repair Mom. The service was great the tech made me feel comfortable and showed genuine care to get my truck back on the road and done quickly. They have made a customer out of me I will 100% be bringing my truck here from now on. Sorry for the long winded review but I really enjoyed the experience/service I had with Auto Repair Mom. I highly recommend them for your vehicle servicing and needs.

I would like to start off by saying I never leave reviews. I do however read them feverishly before heading to an establishment. Auto Repair Mom had great reviews which led me to deciding to stop by. In addition to great reviews, when I called in and spoke with Justin, he was absolutely kind and attentive to my concerns about my truck. I ended up taking my truck in for a cam shaft sensor code which appeared on my dash due to the negligence of a previous oil change at a well known quick oil change franchise. Long story short, Auto Repair Mom worked on my truck for 5 hours in attempts to locate the damage. They ultimately did find the source of the code but advised it was out of their realm of repair. Since they weren't able to complete the repair, not only did Auto Repair Mom not charge me for all of the hours they put in on the diagnostic, they also referred a place that was better suited to make the repair. That was hands down the single most honest, respectful and comfortable experience I've ever had at an auto mechanic. Auto Repair Mom just gained a new loyal customer for any future repairs and I will be recommending them to anyone in search for an honest mechanic.

Let me preface this by saying I was in the auto repair business for over 25 years, having owned and operated a Shell Autocare full service repair center, albeit a long time ago (1972-1996). I've only been here for two years and have been looking for a reputable shop to handle my automotive needs. I've only had the oil changed on both cars down here at one of the quick stop places (not totally happy). I was fortunate to have a few shops and a Jeep dealership where I moved from (Virginia) that were pretty good and honest. After reading the reviews like you all have, I took both cars to ARM for service and asked that the brakes on both be inspected. I needed the rears on the Jeep replaced. I was amazed at the professionalism, cleanliness and timely service I experienced. The prices were very reasonable also. It's hard for me to trust anyone with my cars but I've found the place that's put my mind at ease!!!

Update: Safely home and the van ran great. I can't express enough how thankful I am to have found a great place for repairs when we are in the area. I've spoken to family and friends down there and Auto Repair Mom will be getting some new customers in the near future! Original review, also 5 stars: I haven't picked up my van yet- I will update this when I do. And while the repair of my vehicle is of primary importance, I can say now that this shop was incredibly accommodating to an out of state traveler with serious transmission issues. They even have after hour pickup arrangements!

Absolutely amazing team! Recently, I came in with a coolant leak that was getting into the 4th cylinder. They were able to get me in quickly, and they were incredibly wonderful to work with. Their team is beyond friendly and kind, even to someone like me who isn't familiar with cars or car repairs. They went above and beyond to help me and saved me thousands of dollars. Not an exaggeration at all, when I had brought it to them, I was not sure how much the fix would cost or how long it would take. Within a day of having my car, they informed me of what the issue was and had researched that the dealer would cover and pay for it even though I purchased the car second hand. They gave me everything I would need to start that process and only charged me for diagnostics (a little over 100 dollars, I believe). After going through Ford at their request, I found out Not only were they right, but Ford would have charged me 7k to fix it had they not let me know about the warranty. Seriously amazing team. Even when I had my partner come to pick up the car for me while I was at work he noted how friendly everyone was and how much they went out of their way to help.

I was told by another quick lube shop that I needed all of my brakes repaired, was upsold on multiple other things, and given quotes. Due to the upsell nonsense and extremely high quotes, I went to Auto Repair Mom for a quote. I received a quote for brakes that was less and was also told that I only need the front brakes done and not all four, which saved me money. Joe was super helpful and gave me clear pricing, etc. Due to the experience I had here. I’ll be going back for any future work that needs to be done on my car or either of my daughters’ cars.

11 stars! The way I love this shop is unreasonable, especially as someone who cares nothing for cars or mechanics haha! I had brought my 2011 Hyundai Sonata to THREE different mechanics who all told me different things, different prices.. had work done by two just for the issues to persist. After some googling I found Auto Repair Mom. The freshest breath of air!!!! And woman owned?! Happy to support. They were all kind from the first phone call to repair and even when I had to come back again for something else. I will never go anywhere else now. Highly recommend. ⭐

Fantastic Experience! I have had the same auto mechanic for 13 years, Dutch, who was amazing. But I found out this week he had retired and sold the place. So, I had to find a new mechanic to get regular oil changes/maintenance/repair for my Tundra. Dreading the chore of finding someone new, I went to google and looked for good reviews. Auto Repair Mom comes up and I was intrigued by the name as well as the fact that they are not far from me. I figured I would at least call and check this place out. Very friendly conversation with the gentleman who answered the phone and he was quite accommodating. I made an appointment and took my truck in a few days later. My wife dropped off my truck and told me they were very polite. A few hours later they gave us a call to let us know they had finished the oil change and done an inspection and that the brakes and rotors in the rear needed replacement. I already knew this was coming because its been a while and the squeaking has started. They gave us a quote and said they could have everything done by end of day. My wife and I went to pick up the truck and were greeted by three individuals working there. Some pleasant chat and then conveniently checked out. Truck drives great now, no more squeaking brakes. Convenient, Friendly, Quite reasonable pricing.....so far so good! Glad I can support another local privately owned business. If they keep this up, they will have this client for a long time. Auto Repair Mon is phenomenal! Their expertise combined with their transparency and honesty is refreshing for an auto repair shop. They've worked on my car that's 14 years old a few times during the last year. I knew when I bought it, it would need maintenance to keep it running. I'm so happy I've found a dependable and great team to keep my car running. I went in one day upset because my doors were filled with water. Apparently it's a known issue. Not only did they not charge me for the simple task, they showed me how to drain the water for future occurrences. Highly recommend Auto Repair Mom!

It's overwhelming how refreshing it is these days to work with folks whom are straightforward and honest. Had $3,400 worth of repairs done to my wife's daily truck with 243,000 miles. Timing chains, guides, plugs, coil packs, water pump and various other things. Big job that I did not have the time to undertake in my small shop. This was quoted to me for twice and three times the price at other places. He showed me all the parts that were replaced. I am impressed with the work warranty as well. I'm glad I drove an hour from home to take a chance on them. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know.

5 Stars are not enough to rate what an excellent establishment Auto Repair Mom really is. This shop exemplifies quality work, friendliness, transparency, fair pricing, and most importantly, honesty. I was a regular customer at a different mechanic shop but came here for a second opinion for a repair that I questioned, and I am so glad I did. Auto Repair Mom took a look at a perceived computer issue that would have cost me almost $1,000 and said that it was most likely a sensor that would be around $200. Here's where the integrity and honesty come in.....Once they received the sensor and got my car up on the lift to install it, Max came out and said, that after getting a closer look, he felt that the issue might actually be a cracked plastic fitting near the sensor instead of the sensor. He stated that to replace the fitting would be over $100 cheaper than the sensor, so he wanted to try that first. The plastic fitting replacement worked perfectly, and was cheaper than the sensor, and in a completely different monetary ballpark than the fix suggested by my prior mechanic shop. That my friends, is honesty and integrity, qualities not often found in businesses these days. This is just one example since I've been going here and there have been more. I bring all of my family's cars here and I've recommended Bailey and her excellent shop to friends that all share the same sentiment as I do. If you are looking for a mechanic, it doesn't get better than here.

Honest! I was worried about my alternator and when they checked my car, they found no known issue. They did say it could be fuel pump but until it goes bad, they wouldn't know. Which is understandable. I appreciated that they were able to see me right away and that they didn't try to "find" something wrong. No charge for their time either. When I do need a repair, I will definitely go back.

Amazing place, amazing people, and they go out of their way to make sure the problem is fixed! I’ve gone to 2 other shops who told me my vehicle would have to be serviced at the dealership (clogged sun roof drain lines), but I cannot stand being treated incompetent or talked into additional services so I started asking around for local shops who could actually help. Not only did they fix the problem, but they made sure that was really the problem and that it was really fixed, and I really appreciate being thorough. I will def bring my vehicle back for all service needs!! 10/10

I called Auto Repair Mom late afternoon yesterday about a possible alternator issue on my teen sister's car. They were able to squeeze her in same day to drop it off and looked at it today. On the call yesterday, they were so transparent with pricing even before we dropped off her car and were patient enough to talk through the options! Early this morning I received a call from Bailey who had already taken a look at the car. Turns out there was nothing major wrong with the car and they didn't even charge my sister for their time to diagnose it. Now I know this isn't always guaranteed, but how awesome is this experience! Not only were they quick to get the car in, they were also patient and communicative and above all honest and not looking to nickel and dime her. This is so refreshing. We are so grateful. Oh I should add that the waiting room is also clean and set up to accommodate kids while you wait. Not only did they gain my teen sister as a customer, but I'll be going there too going forward. Such a great experience. Thank you!

After going to Firestone in Rock Hill and being told I needed Valve Gasket Covers, Spark Plugs, New Breaks and Tires, and Coil Packs for my Pathfinder, I was quoted above 1,400.00 for the repair. I spoke with the local Rock Hill Automotive who wanted $350.00 just to replace spark plugs. I wanted to shop around for honest work and fair pricing and came across Auto Repair Mom. I spoke with Bailey I believe Joe and they gave me a quote, how long the work would take and it was significantly lower than those 2 garages. I was able to drop my car off the night before, let them do their thing and had the work done in a couple of hours ( I'm told valve gasket covers can be a pain) I was charged wayyyyyyy less than quotes from those are 2 garages (by less than half of the 1400 quoted) and the car started right up, no check engine light and drove better than when I bought it. I highly suggest Auto Repair Mom for your repair needs. My wife and family will be going here from now on. Thank you all again. I appreciate it.

Having recently moved to the area we needed to find a trust worthy repair shop for our vehicles. A quick Google search found Auto Repair Mom and they have exceeded our expectations. Our first repair, on my Ford Ranger (alternator replacement) was a quick schedule and turn around and on a recent visit with our Camry they helped us navigate misinformation from Advaned Auto and did not install an expensive unneeded part. Yesterday morning I rolled down my driver’s side window and it wouldn’t roll back up. This has been repaired at another shop before but they couldn’t get me in for another 5 days to take a look at it. I don’t have a garage and needed this fixed soon because I’m getting married out of town in less than a week. I found Auto Repair Mom from a Google search, talked to Joe, and luckily they were able to fit me in for Bailey to at least determine what parts were needed. They put the order in time for the part to be delivered same day and installed it later that afternoon. Thank you Bailey and Joe for getting me up and running so quickly! She went above and beyond while inspecting my car, I feel confident that anything there was to be found was found. On top of that she is extremely efficient. Bailey is the BEST!!!! Mr. Joe was welcoming and also knowledgeable!!! It's warm and super cute inside. I am so glad that I found them!! 🙏🏾 Bailey even showed me how to check my oil stick through the computer of my BMW. Wish I hadn't paid BMW for that oil change program. Very honest repair shop. After getting my rear brake pad’s replaced at a local tire shop, I had a parking brake warning light appear on my dash. Stopped by Moms Auto Repair: They found a disconnected wire going to my right rear parking brake actuator. 7minute repair. No charge. Highly recommend these folks. I’ll be back to see them for sure.

HONEST MECHANIC! Excellent service and extremely fair pricing. I stopped at a franchise place (think Mavis, Firestone, etc.) last week to have a tire plugged and they tried to sell me a brake job while I was there. Didn't feel right so I declined. I came to Auto Repair Mom and they told me I was good for at least another 5k - 10k miles. AND when they do the brakes later this year, their price is about 20% less than the other place! If you aren't using Auto Repair Mom for your ride then you are messing up.

I had problems with my steering and needed new hose for a cross country drive. The people at auto repair mom looked at my car and had it fixed by noon the next day. They are very transparent and treat your care with care. I’ve been to quite a few mechanics in the Charlotte area and auto repair mom has been, by far, the best.

I have been looking for a good auto repair shop since moving here and have tried several that I did not like and did not feel well taken care of. I have finally found a place that I know that I will be treated fairly and not taken advantage of. Bailey and her crew are fantastic! The price on their oil changes are phenomenal - soooo much less than the quick lube places, and it is not any more time consuming. She identified the issues with my air conditioner and let me know that I need new tires as well, and even though no one wants to hear they need to spend money, at least I finally have someone I trust will give me a fair price and fix it correctly. I absolutely recommend this place for sure!!!!

Super impressed with this business. Google directions made it extremely easy to find. I emailed to inquire about oil change prices, the owner was responsive and able to schedule me quickly. When I arrived the waiting area is nicely decorated and comfortable while I was waiting. Staff was efficient and they thoroughly checked my car including air filter and brakes. The cost for all services was reasonable and they even have a punch card for customers as a great marketing tool. They may be just getting started but you can tell they have years of experience among all the staff and want to give the best customer and quality service .

First of all this place is heaven sent, I previously received a quote from Speedee auto for an air sensor, air filter, and both solenoids. I wanted to get a second opinion so I called Auto Repair Mom, for the same repairs I was quoted $100 less. I took my car there and she proactively investigated until she knew what the problem was. She didn’t make me spend unnecessary money as I would have at Speedee. My visit was under $100 and if it wasn’t for them I would’ve been out a lot of cash and my problem still wouldn’t be fixed. I have sent my friends family and everyone I know. I am a forever customer

I was in a bind with jeep not starting. Called around and found this gem of a shop. Bailey the owner was awesome along with her team. Experienced and professional. I needed a starter replaced and no lie, I was done in 15 minutes, I was rushing cause I had to catch a flight, this may not be the norm but they were super accommodating. I couldn’t even finish my review. They were able to diagnose other issues as well. Will be back here as I found my mechanic.

We are new to the area so when my car began making an awful grinding noise when I brake I knew I needed a reliable mechanic and fast. Luckily we recieved a flyer in the mail that stated this shop was opening up nearby. I had sent an email over the weekend and they called me first thing Monday morning and were able to pencil me in. My experience was great and everything went smoothly! The whole team is friendly, upfront, and honest. Pricing was super reasonable (got brake pads and rotors done). Work was done fairly quickly and done well. I would highly recommend this place for your car needs!!

I wanted to post a review for Auto Repair Mom which is owned by Bailey Holston. If you are needing any work done on your vehicle or just a simple oil change, you need to go to Auto Repair Mom. I have been left with my brother’s 2000 GMC Sierra which has 362k+ miles on it while he is currently stationed in South Korea. To say this truck is another child in addition to his 5 is pretty close. He has been the only owner and it’s happily taken many road trips through most of the United States. I took it to another repair shop and didn’t enjoy the negotiations that came with the service. I knew I needed to find a place that would be trust worthy and not do any damage to it. I gave this shop a chance and it did not disappoint. Had the oil changed and checked for a possible leak which wasn’t a leak just the result of a truck with a lot of miles on it.

10/10. Full service auto repair shop with technicians experienced on all makes and models. Changed my battery and oil quickly for a very reasonable price while I waited comfortably in a clean, air-conditioned and family friendly environment. Competent, trustworthy, friendly…and very reasonably priced! Assured me it was just the battery and not an issue with the starter or alternator etc. Glad I had it checked by full service technicians instead of just replacing the battery at an Auto Parts store. Will return!

Amazing! Service was quick and easy. The team was friendly and explained everything throughly. I went in for a chirping noise and the mechanic diagnosed it quickly and even called to get the warranty company to cover it. They gave good itemized pricing and helped me schedule an appointment for a future date once parts were delivered so I could schedule around kid drop off and pick up. The waiting room was bright and clean. Definitely the best experience I’ve had at an auto repair shop! Goes to show a Mom’s touch makes everything better even auto repair!
